LOTD: CUPCAKE TOPPING

This is a look my class mate actually did couple of times to me during our makeup period.
It was honestly the only makeup I kept the whole day after the class and the only makeup I have recreated since it to myself allready couple of times.
Only thing is that I added some of my own things to it (The winged liner and white waterline). The "Original one had only a really thin blavk liner (not winged), and the pink was matte color.

I think this really emphesizes blue eyes! :)
This also compliments my red hair (which hasn't changed after I colored it red haha :D I will stick into it!)

Remember to "LOVE" this at Makeup Geek Idea Gallery! (CLICK THIS)

Here's how you can achieve this look (the eyes)!

1. Apply a base (Mine was just a white kohl pencil)

2. Pat a dark grey eyeshadow to the outer corners and blend carefully towards the inner corner (Don't bring the dark too close to your inner corner or it will close up your eyes) [Small blending brush]

3. Pat the matte pink eyeshadow to the lid [Flat stiff brush

4. Add some light to the eyes by feathering the white eyeshadow from the inner corner towards the pink (little bit over it also) [Flat brush, soft rounded brush]

5. Feather some of the grey color on top of the pink, towards the center of the lid. [small flat brush]

6. Take a synthetic brush, wet it little bit and add a shimmery pink eyeshadow on top of the matte eyeshadow (By wetting the brush, you get the metallic effect. You can also use some kind of mixing medium like Inglots' Duraline) [Sythetic flat brush]

7. Do a lower lashline shadow with grey and black [Little pencil brush] (If your eye are small, skip this step or line only half away like I have done.)

8. Line the upper lashline with your favourite liner.

9. Add mascara

DONE! :)

Pop Of Color - Blue Liner

Heyyy you,

Here's a look I wore yesterday. Something simple with pop of bright blue. :)
The pictures have been taken in different days, but the looks are mainly the same, the other one only has the crease shadowing in it. :)

Enjoy.

Pop Of Color - Blue Liner

Products used on this look + instructions:

Face:
As my skin is good condition nowadays, I really don't use much of a face products, but I give you the instructions anyway.

1. Apply foundation/makeup base if you will (Inglot Makeup Base; silicone based, clear product that goes to all skin colours and shades.)

Now you may wanna apply your full face foundation (or concealer and then foundation... OR foundation and then concealer), this is what I did to achieve my look:

2. Elite Click & Glow Concealer in "Opale" (Used it under my eyes and few spots on my jaw line). >> Blend the product carefully.
3. Meow Cosmetics Mineral Foundation in "Chausie", shade 0-inquisitive (too loght for me at summertime, so added only a tinyest amount to even out my skin color.)

4. Meow Cosmetics Glow Powder in "Diety Glow" (Contoured my cheekbones and little bit forehead)

Eyes:

COMPLIMENTS BROWN EYES BEAUTIFULLU AND YET IT IS DAY TIME A PROPIER! ^_^

1. Aplly a thin coat of eyeshadow base of your choice. (Lime Crime eyeshadow base sample.)

2. Pat on a light nude color with flat stiff brush. (Makeup Geek e/s in "Vanilla Bean" BTW Hit the pan with this! <3)

Optional step 3. Blend some shimmery brown shadow to the crease with small or medium blending brush. (Makeup Geek e/s in "Homecoming")

4. Add different shades of blue shadows to the lower lashline. (This is the order I add them: Makeup Geek e/s "Mermaid", Makeup Geek e/s "Sea Mist", Makeup Geek e/s "Ocean Breeze" to darken the outer corners.)

5. Draw a winged liner with angeled brush or liquid liner. (Makeup Geek Gel Liner in "Immortal")

6. Set the liner with black eyeshadow (Makeup Geek e/s "Corrupt")

7. Add your favourite mascara. (My ultimate favourite at the moment: Maybeline Colossal Waterproof Mascara < Not for cruelty free or Vegan fans though)

Hope you liked it! :)
Go and vote this looks on Makeup Geek site!

See you all soon! <3

Mixed Things

Hi evereyone,

I know I have been quite lately, I have so much stuff going on in my life right now. I can tell you something, but there are actually a... well I don't know is it really a 'big' problem - for me at least it is - and aout that I'm not rady to talk now (or even never).
I have a friend who's extremely supporting in this matter, so THANK YOU for being there for me! <3

Also the school has been keeping me away from the computer lately. There aren't much 'homework' since we are already technically working in the school as a cosmetologists (I didn't write that right, did I? haha :D), but I'm almost everyday freakishly tired after school. (Maybe also 'cause the worries, but anyway.)

~~~
Here you can see a 'facial care card'. We have now a facial care in school. This card is something we always fill before doing any facials. For example: we have to determine how big pores the clients has, is there blackheads (comedos) or is the skin sensitive. (there are more than only those.)
All of these questions help us to know if the client has normal skin, oily skin, dry skin or combination skin.
And as you can quess, when we know the skin type, we can choose the best products for it.
Lets say we have a client that has dry skin. We then choose to use products that are meant to add hydration in the skin. :) It would be no use to use oily skin products for dry skin - there are ingredients that dries the skin in the oily skin products. This way the skin would dry out even more! :D
This is why it would be really helpfull for all of us to really recognize what is our skin type. So that we can take care of it right way.
Sooooo, I've decided to help you little bit with that matter. I will do a post soon where I:
* Tell you about different skin types.
* Help you to recognize some typical features of each skin type.
* Tell little bit how to trat each skin type.
Sounds  good? :)) I wanted to do this, 'cause I have had a problematic skin and it was a pain to take care of it 'cause I really didn't know was I a combination skin or a oily skin - so I can emphatize if someone's having frustrations!! x)
~~~

But about that later. Here's a another dark makeup!! :D

I'm so sorry! I don't remember the products I used! xDD I have such a short memory these days!

~~~
Last but not least, I colored and cut my hair last weekend. :)))
Isn't it nice color? :P Me likey! (Even if I'm saying it myself.) I'm going to stay with reddish colors.
For those who didn't knew, I use to have pitch black hair. I was black haired until the spring 2012. ;)
I didn't want to invest money to the hair salon so I did my hair (coloring and cut) by myself. xD
DO NOT ABUSE YOUR HAIR LIKE I DID HAHA! <--- it looked like I was killing my hair. :'DD
But don't worry, I have REEEEEALLY thick hair, so it wasn't a bid deal even if I don't have a hair stylists way of cutting hair.
Oh, and my hair is healthy and shiny so no damages :D They way I cut it, just looked really brutal (from the point of my precious hair.... buhahaha xD)
That's all fror now. This post is a... chaotic mess of everything I have in my head right now - a word vomit!!!! hahaha.
Good day my lovies! :))
.... Need to go sleep... and it's only 4 pm. :DD
Razzleberry Slushie
Hey, hey, hey! Here's what I did today :)
Slushie, slushie :3
I'm not even sure why, but I'm not completely pleased how this came up. :DDD Maybe because of the photography. So I'm sorry if the colors seems too bright - in my computer they're fine, but every screen is different. :)
I wont yack anymore, I just let the pictures speak for me :)
Razzleberry Slushie;
Here's the products;
FACE;
* Mufe HD Foundation
* Meow Cosmetics Mineral Foundation - Chausie (Inquisitive) (Yes I used a foundation on top of the foundation...)
* Aromaleigh Mineral Cheek Blush in "Sakura"
EYES;
* Inglot Eyeprimer
* NYX Jumbo Pencil in "Milk"
* BH Cosmetics 2nd edition 120 Palette (2 pinks and 1 black)
* MUG "Razzleberry
* Sugarpill Chromalust Loose Shadow "Tiara"
* Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadow "Tako"
* Inglot Liquid liner #25
* Red Cherry lashes JB/CP
LIPS;
* Inglot #242
In this the "Razzleberry" shows little better. (I used it in the crease under two other pinks)
Makeup Geeks' "Razzleberry" is truly a unique color. It's a true, vibrant red with gold sparkles in it! It blends like a dream and feels really smooth. "Razzleberry" is so pigmented that when I first time took it into my brush (barely touched the shadow) I noticed there was already way too much color in my brush (a good surprise 'cause wiht some less pigmented shadows you almost need to rub the shadow to get decent amount of color!)
This time I only used it as a kind of a blending color with other pinks, but in the (near) future I will doo more looks with "Razzleberry". :))
That was that Lil' Readers! Hope you liked it! I had fun doing this. <3 :)
Let me know, if you want a tutorial! (Didn't take step-by-step photos now, 'cause I was spontaniously planning this while doing the look at the same time. <--- that style seems to work be better than detailed planning :D)
Peacock Liner
Here's my "Look of the day"; Peacock Liner! :)
I was feeling awfull (actually even worse than before), but I had this sudden URGE to do at least something simple. >.<
Can't help it. I must be really persistent person. :'D (or just dumb... O.o)
Products;
* Inglot eye primer
* NYX Jumbo Pencil in "Milk"
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in "Vanilla Bean"
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in "Homecoming" (Again; GORGEOUS! <3)
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow in "Peacock"
"Peacock" is a matte deep blue/teal.
It's really smooth and absolutely amazing color! Like it alot :)))
As I started to do makeups, I use to edit my eyes into green and brown to give the idea what the look would look like with other eyecolors too. Now I did the same thing!
Peacock Liner with my natural eye color. (blue)
With brown eyes.
Green eyes. (they are really hard to make)
As you can see, I'm wearing shadow on my lower lashline again! My eyes aren't teary anymore thanks to the eyedrops for dry eyes. :)
Hope you enjoyed it Lil' Readers! <3
Green As... Broccoli?
Hi!
*laughing* Yeah, you're most likely to wonder what's with the title of this posting? :DDD Well first of all, I might have some weird addiction to broccoli, cause everytime I see green it's the first thing comes in my mind.
And the second reason is this;
In FB I named this spontaniously as a "Lime Spring" (because of the lime green... I'm so creative -.-'), but come on you can't deny it, obvious broccoli inspired!! :DD
I got carried away with the photo editing. (I'm also sorry that the pictures are bad, I've been really bad with the camera lately.)
Okay so if get pass the fact that apparently I have a subconsious obsession with broccoli, I actually wasn't really inspired by the spring (or the broccoli...).
Ever since I started to do makeups, I've been AFRAID of color GREEN. *bites her fragile nails* :S
GREEN-O-PHOBIA.
And that is exactly why I wanted go out of my comfort zone and do all green look now that I have green shadows to play with! (in my new 120 palette)
I don't reckon this as a success, but it's not a completely failure either. Just a reasonable  result if you take a consideration the thing I'm a 'first timer' with the green shadows :DD (Did that sounded funny???)
I shall practise more with the greens. NO MORE BROCCOLI LOOKS! haha :D
Oh btw, if you think this looks little unfinished (mainly 'cause I don't have anything on my lowerlahline) I agree. It's just that at the time there's no point for me to do my lower lashline, 'cause my eyes are so dry they're teary all the time - all the color would get messed up right away.
Products;
* BH Cosmetics 120 palette 2nd edition (acid green and forest green + black)
* Makeup Geek "Yellow Brick Road"
Hopefully you have great day Lil' Readers... And maybe my broccoli look at least made somebody else laugh also! <3 :'D
How To: "Sun Cocktail look" (verbal instructions)
Hi!
I'm back to tell you instructions for the "Sun Cocktail" look. :)
Later I also might do a step-by-step picture tutorial for this look and for "Cupcake Doomsday" also.
(I was particularly requested to do tutorial for "Cupcake Doomsday")
Products yet again;
* Lime Crime Candy Eye Primer
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow - Chickadee
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow - Goddes
* MUFE #02
* Sugarpill Chromalust Loose Shadow - Goldilux
* Makeup Geek Eyeshadow - Corrupt
* Inglot Liquid Liner
* Ardell False Lashes - Babies
Numbers indicates the places where I used each shadow, NOT the order.
1. Prime your eye with eyeshadow primer.
2. Apply "Chickadee" (or any burnt orange) all over the lid with flat stiff brush.
3. Apply ligh/medium yellow to the crease with stiff dome blending brush. (MUFE #02)
4. Add lightly "Chickadee" over that yellow you just added into crease.
5. Add "Goddes" (copper shade) also lihtly to the crease to darken that orange.
6. Then I just played back and forth with orange, copper and yellow until I got that wanted effect and intensity.
8. Pat some glitter insuranse or thin layer of sticky base to the lid.
7. Add Golden loose shadow or glitter to inner and mid parts, but leave outer corner without. (Sugarpill's "Goldilux") (Remember to PAT, DON'T WIPE)
8. Add "Corrupt" (black) to the outer corner very lightly and blend with that "Chikadee" on your blending brush.
9. Take a highlight color (mine was Sugarpill's "Tako") and add to the browbone with soft dome blending brush ---> Blend also harsh lines of the yellow/orange.
(10. I lightent that orange little bith with white on my blending brush.)
11. Apply "Goldilux" to your lower lahsline.
12. Run white eyeliner to your lower tightline.
13. Put on your mascara. (I do my mascara always before false lashes)
(14. Add false lashes - Ardell "Babies")
THE LOOK IS DONE!
